Is there information on eth1 ?

If so then do configure your eth1 via "ifconfig..."
i do run this script when trying to get wlan up and running:
ifconfig eth0 down
ifconfig eth1 192.168.0.90 netmask 255.255.255.0
ifconfig eth1 up
route add default gw 192.168.0.1
iwconfig eth1 essid blabla
iwconfig eth1 key 7306D6C65787DF692BDEA4BE6A

then wait some secs...and AP will be found :-)
