Hello,
I have a centrino laptop (HP/Compaq X1000) with a built in intel
PRO/Wireless 2100B adapter. I was very excited to hear that driveloader
would work with my machine. I download and installed the downloader. I
am having problems in that the driveloader says that
No device detected by driveloader
So, my question is, how do I get driveloader to recognize the the adapter?
Of course I am dead in the water then. I have a PCCard Linksys WPC11 on
the machine since there are Linux driver for that card in case that
makes a difference.
I am running 2.6.0-test8 Kernel on a Redhat machine. The compile works
fine but the message I get in /var/log/messages is:
Oct 29 18:42:33 localhost kernel: driverloader: module license 'see
LICENSE file; Copyright (c)2003 Linuxant inc.' taints kernel.
