i used driverloader for about two weeks on redhat 9 and it worked great with my
intel 2100 mini-pci card. yesterday i upgraded to fedora and can't get driverloader
to work. it compiles fine but the module doesn't load:
[root at flash root]# /sbin/modprobe driverloader
Warning: loading /lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2115.nptl/misc/driverloader.o will taint the kernel: non-GPL license - see LICENSE file; Copyright (c)2003 Linuxant inc.

/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2115.nptl/misc/driverloader.o: init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.
You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg
/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2115.nptl/misc/driverloader.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2115.nptl/misc/driverloader.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2115.nptl/misc/driverloader.o: insmod driverloader failed
there is no info about this in the logs. any idea? is this a kernel problem or am i missing
device nodes or something like that? i will probably try a custom kernel later...
thx,
michi
