Hi,
try to set the rate to "auto" in your wireless interface configuration.
Also, since you have a problem reaching your AP, you should, if possible,
reset your AP's configuration and try without any special settings like WEP
or MAC filtering. The ESSID should be set though because some cards seem to
have a problem when no ESSID is specified.

I am trying Driverloader with a Fujitsu Centrino based laptop.
The driver loads fine and I can see the AP (iwlist eth1 scanning) but I
never receives DHCP answers.
There is a strange warning or error in the kernel log :
