Hi,

I noticed that you are also using the latest NDIS driver for the Broadcom
chipset (3.30.15.0).

Does your WLAN adapter work properly under Windows on the same machine? If
it does, you may test these suggestions.

1) Try playing with the following kernel boot parameters:

"pci=noacpi", "acpi=off", "noapic" and/or "apm=off".

2) Configure and install a generic 2.4 kernel (from kernel.org) with the
ACPI patches found on this web site:

http://sf.net/projects/acpi

3) Configure and install a generic 2.6 kernel from ftp.kernel.org.

With option 2 and 3, you need to install the generic driver package (instead
of a package specific to a single distribution/kernel). You will find the
generic drivers under the title "Generic packages with source" on
the download page. I recommend using the RPM when your distribution supports
it.

Subject: [driverloader] WMP54G Will not load driver

I have been asking about this same problem from the beginning, unfortunately
I have received little response. I installed the latest version of driver
loader tonight hoping it would change something but unfortunately not. I
have attached the debug output. the main error is listed below.

driverloader: module license 'see LICENSE file; Copyright (c)2003 Linuxant
inc.' taints kernel.
PCI: Found IRQ 10 for device 0000:00:12.0
0000:00:12.0: cache line size not set; forcing 8
divert: allocating divert_blk for eth1
driverloader: NdisWriteErrorLogEntry: ErrorCode=DRIVER_FAILURE
NumberOfErrorValues=1
driverloader: NdisWriteErrorLogEntry: ErrorValue 0=0x103
eth1: failed to initialize adapter (err = -5)
divert: freeing divert_blk for eth1
eth1: Failed to register net device (-5)
driverloader: probe of 0000:00:12.0 failed with error -5

Thank you,
