Kudos, driverloader let's me use the build-in wifi nic!
Problem:
The driverloader module is set to autoload on boot.
Then eth0 is brought up, but the network doesn't actually exist.
I need to rmmod/modprobe driverloader and restart eth0 to get
a working network. No errors in the logs.
driverloader does work :-D, I'm just looking to avoid the reload.
BTW, restarting eth0 without reloading the mod doesn't resolve the issue.
Tech:
Running Gentoo 1.4, kernel 2.6.0 stable
HP ZD7000 CTO, Broadcom BCM94306 802.11g (rev 02)
Suggestions..?
BTW, I've resolved several issues with this cards support. I'll be
posting them separately. This includes setting the rate (common
point of failure)
