Hi,
I'm having problems getting driverloader to see my
Netgear WG511. Essentially, modprobe refuses to load
the driverloader module. Can anyone shed any light on
how I can persuade it to load ?
Details:
Computer = Dell Inspiron 5100
WiFi PC Card = Netgear WG511
Operating System = SuSE Linux 8.1 ( linux 2.4.19-4GB )
Driverloader version =
driverloader-1.54_k2.4.19_4GB-1suse.i586.rpm.zip
Netgear Driver Version = wg511v16
Other information :
The Netgear driver files are all present in
/var/lib/driverloader
The driverloader installer hasn't added anything to
/etc/modules.conf
cardctl can see the card, but doesn't recognise it.
cardctl ident reports :
---
Socket 1:
product info: "Intersil", "ISL3890", "-", "-"
manfid: 0x000b, 0x3890
function: 254 ((null))

modprobe -v driverloader reports:
