Hi,

the problem might be caused by the "CONFIG_DEBUG_SPINLOCK" option in the
kernel. Can you please verify if it is enabled?

If it is, you will need to recompile your kernel without this option and
then install it.

Subject: [driverloader] WMP45G PCI on Kernel 2.6.0 temporary freezups

I just installed 2.6.0 and I'm having some trouble. I'm using
driverloader version 1.54 and the Linksys WMP54G_driver_utility 1.3,
both newest.

During downloads I'm getting temporary system pauses every few minutes.
The following is placed in the syslog

Jan 11 13:33:19 ptl-63-164-63-44 kernel: driverloader:
NdisAcquireSpinLock: exceeded spinlimit (173056000), breaking lock

During downloads it happens every 5-10 minutes. Very annoying, as my
system stops responding for about 3 seconds. Looks like a resource
sharing lockup or something

Any ideas?

Jeff
