I also use SuSE 9 [Pro]. Before you eradicate your WindowsXP, find the 'inf'
file for your wireless device, along w/the driver it uses. You might want to
copy them to other media, particularly if the driver is compressed on the
installation/recovery CD. When you config the driverloader you will need
these two items.
Since I have a dual-boot situation I have the system load the driver from the
XP partition. I have not attempted writing the driver to Linux, then loading
it. Someone else may be able to address that.
