Since you have a Windows box, you could use WinZip to open the cab
file.  Then extract the inf to a drive that Linux can access.  Also,
you might try cabextract (http://www.kyz.uklinux.net/cabextract.php)
or some of the other applications that you may find at
http://www.google.com/linux?&q=extract+cab.
