[driverloader] How to disable radio?

Hi,

I'm using driverloader with a Dell TrueMobile 1300, and it works great.  
Except... I want to use my laptop on a plane and I can't figure out how to 
disable the radio.  This command: 'iwconfig wlan0 txpower off' tells me 
that the feature isn't supported.  I could prevent driverloader from 
loading at boot time, but I don't know whether the radio might be on by 
default at power-up.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
