Thanks to Marc, I found the usr11g driver zip at the linuxant site.
Silly me for looking for "usr 5416" :-)

After that I could see the card but not talk; I needed to get a license
(instead of being license-less for up to 30 days, which I misunderstood).

A bit more playing with reboots is ahead, but I'm in good shape.  Thanks
