[driverloader] Mandrake drivers for dial-up modem

My friend is using Mandrake 9.2. We downloaded and unzipped drivers for the 56K dialup modem. It installed fine and we got online. As long as he does not turn off computer he can go on and off line and back on again. However, if he turns off the PC, he has to go thru the download process again. Every time he reboots this happens. What can we do to correct this?
