[driverloader] Problems with Broadcom mini-PCI in HP zd7145 Notebook

I have configured drivers in DriverLoader and i'm having difficulty detecting 
my AP. The output of the iwlist scan command is that the data could not be 
retrieved.  The YaST utility detects the card and configures it. I have 
configured the IP addresses manually as the network uses Static IP. What can 
i do to connect up the card?
