[driverloader] auto-reconnect after signal loss?

Hey gang,

I'm running driverloader v2.07 on RedHat 8.0 w/ a USR 5416 PCI card,
on a server running headless (i.e. without monitor or keyboard).  It's
connecting to an SMC Barricade wireless router.

Everything is working great, except occasionally I have to change a
setting on the router and/or restart the router, and thus the server
loses its wireless connection.  The problem is that the server never
attempts to regain its connection, and since the server is running
headless, I'm forced to reboot it.

My question is, is there a way I can have my server automatically
reconnect after a loss of the wireless connection?  Is there some sort
of cron job I can run or something?  Surely I'm not the only one who
has run into this problem, yet I can't seem to find an easy solution.

Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks in advance!
