[driverloader] driverloader on ubuntu

Hi,

I have successfully installed the driverloader on SuSE 9.1 and Debian 
testing, but I need help on how to complete the installation on Ubuntu 
Linux (based on Debian). Ubuntu is peculiar int the way that it  has no 
user called 'root'.  Everything needing root priveliges seems to be done 
with sudo.. When I connect my browser to http://127.0.0.1:18020, I am 
asked to type the root user id and password.. Well, the system doesn't 
have a 'root' user id, and giving my regular userid and password does 
not work either.

I am stuck here. Do you have any ideas?
