[driverloader] Re: unable to re-install on suse 9.2

Hi,

according to the information you have provided, you are using the 
pre-compiled RPM package for the 2.6.8-24.3-default kernel while you are 
running the 2.6.8-24-default kernel, this is why it doesn't work.

You could upgrade your kernel to the 2.6.8-24.3-default version with 
YaST Online Updater, boot in this new kernel and then run the 
'dldrconfig' command in a root shell or you could also instead install 
the following package on your system :

---
gcc
kernel-source-2.6.8-24
---

Then, remove the already installed DriverLoader package with the 'rpm -e 
driverloader' command in a root shell and finally download and install 
the generic package in the RPM format that you can download from the 
DriverLoader download page at :

http://www.linuxant.com/driverloader/wlan/full/downloads.php
