Dear all,
It appears with various versions of the driver. I also tried to revert
back to the "officlal" fedora kernel (without the S3 sleep patch and
the software-suspend patch that I have been using.) with
kernel-2.6.10-1.741_FC3 I get the following.
% echo mem > /sys/power/state
[tries to suspend but doesn't]
% dmesg | tail -10
audit(1105891797.222:0): avc: denied { execute } for pid=5646
path=/lib/libcap.so.1.10 dev=hda5 ino=455832
scontext=user_u:system_r:ntpd_t tcontext=system_u:object_r:file_t
tclass=file
audit(1105891797.222:0): avc: denied { read } for pid=5646
exe=/usr/sbin/ntpdate name=libc.so.6 dev=hda5 ino=455801
scontext=user_u:system_r:ntpd_t tcontext=system_u:object_r:file_t
tclass=lnk_file

dumpdiag is attached.
I should mention that with this kernel though my machine locks hard
when I start X. This happened in the last two versions of the kernel,
I am guessing it is related to this changelog entry:
- Fix slab corruption in ACPI video code.
