Hi,
Having real issues try to get driverloader going on any distribution.
I've tried it on Fedora Core 3, Novel Desktop and now Sun Java desktop.
Always the same thing happens:
I download and run the installation program which happily runs through
its processes. Its not until I actually come to configure the card that
I get a problem - I upload the two windows driver files from my
manufacturers CD, but the configuration screen always says "No devices
found".
Last segment from the kernel file looks like:
driverloader: stack=8192/1464/0
usb.c: registered new driver driverloader
hdc: packet command error: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
hdc: packet command error: error=0x50
ATAPI device hdc:
Error: Illegal request -- (Sense key=0x05)
Cannot read medium - incompatible format -- (asc=0x30, ascq=0x02)
The failed "Send DVD Structure" packet command was:
"ad 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 08 00 00 "
