[driverloader] This didn't go well - Installation problem

I purchased a license yesterday and attempted to use the installer
script to install driverloader.

I am working on a dual booted thinkpad t40p, model 2373g3u. Checking
both the ibm site and the atheros site, I confirmed that the wireless
chip set was the Atheros 5100x set.

The Linux distro is FC3, patched to the current stable kernel,
2.6.10-766 (this from memory, I can't boot the OS any more.)

I did the install with the thinkpad running a wired connection. I was
able to get to the point of running up the configuration page in
firefox. At that point I lost my mouse function and ended up power
cycling the system to unlock it.

The next time I booted, after I got through the drill of cleaning up the
file system from the power cycle, the system hung at the beginning of
the Fedora startup screen where it says checking for new hardware.

I'm going to try connecting a usb mouse to the system on the theory that
there is some problem with interrupts and devices here, but I'm really
at a loss. I can't use the system the way it is. Any ideas would
really be appreciated.
