Hi,
did you tried to install DriverLoader available at:
http://www.linuxant.com/driverloader/wlan/downloads-license.php
We recommend that you use the installer if you have an active Internet
connection.
The "cardctl" command is not necessary, you should only make sure that
the wireless device shows up in either 'lspci -v' or 'lsusb' or else
DriverLoader will be unable to drive your wireless device.
