Hi I'm trying to get my <font face="verdana, arial, helvetica" size="2">Fujitsu Siemens Amilo A1650 with the broadcom bcm4318e </font>wireless chip set functioning.<br>

On first install of driverloader the radio light came on and the
interface found, however I couldn't find my AP using iwlist or
kwifimanager.<br>

iwlist wlan0 returns;<br>
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; eth0&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Failed to read scan data : no data available<br>

I think this may be due to me not setting the mode to managed...<br>

However I have since rebooted my linux system the wifi card will not
turn on and now remains off, I've tried reinstalling the driver and
modprobe driverloader but nothing seems to get the light to come back
on as it did during first install.<br>

Please help, I'm new to this and considering giving up on linux as I can only use the internet wireless.<br>
