[hcflinux] latest driver - compilation error

The latest driver will not build cleanly for me from the tgz of the
source. I get
depmod: *** unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.2.18/misc/hcfengine.o
depmod:     memcpy

It _looks_ like a mis-set link,
 But I know my kernel source tree is up together enough to build a
kernel + modules (and memcpy is a pretty non-trivial function IIRC); and
that the previous drivers were building OK...

Any one else had this ?
