[hcflinux] First install succesfull, second failed

Hi HCF,

I'm on day four of my Mandrake Linux 9.0 linuxnewbie adventure. On the 
first day I had a working HCF modem with the mbsci/conexant drivers, just 
by following the instructions. On day two I had fatal crashes constantly 
so on day three I completely reinstalled Mandrake again (and this time 
with ReiserFS, LILO instead of Grub, a multilingual set-up and individual 
package selection to save space). But then my HCF install failed! I 
got '/dev/modem not recognized errors' from KPPP and commandline attempts 
with pppd gave the same results. According to the faq I should do a 
modprobe and dmesg. This is the output of dmesg:

I have tried other packages even the HSF because I have a dev=1025 modem. 
But I still had the same problems.
