Hi,

just be carefull because the word "modem" does not always appear in the 
description of the PCI device. For example, I have a Mandrake test machine 
here that says:

unknown         : Conexant Systems, Inc.|HCF Data/Fax/Remote TAM/Speakerphone 
[COMMUNICATION_OTHER] (vendor:14f1 device:10b6)

In this case, "grep -i modem" doesn't work.

I suggest using "lspci -v" instead of lspcidrake.
