[hcflinux] No RING signal

bug list and we will give you news as soon as possible. Unfortunatly, it can
take a while because we have a lot to take care of.

Can you please send us the output from "hcfpciconfig --dumpdiag"?

I have a Connexant HCF PCI modem, on a linux system (RH8, kernel 2.4.20).

It seems like the modem does not send a RING message when the phone is
ringing for incoming call.
I tested it by simply attaching to the tty using minicom, and dailing to
myself from another line. A I hear another phone on the same line ring,
but I see no "RING" messages.

This, of cause, prevents me from implementing normal fax. Everything
else works just fine: connecting the internet, sending faxes, and even
receiving faxes when I manually tell the fax program to pick up the call.

Any ideas?
