I installed the hcfpcimodem-1.00lnxt03112100free_k2.4.22_10mdk-1mdk.i586.rpm for Mandrake 9.2. My modem is an AopenFM56-PX. Everything looks like it installed properly, except for the fact that I cannot connect to the net. I don't really know what this information is that I gathered, but hopefully someone can help me out. BTW, according to Windows my modem is on COM3.
Here's the info...sorry if it's a bit long.

Is there a program that I can use to test if the modem is working right? DrakConnect does not seem to work at all and "net_monitor" in console just says trying to connect. How can I fix this?
