[hsflinux] pci modem

sorry marc, no offense meant. i'm sure ur drivers work great, but i just
cant get it right..my fault...i was just getting worked up over the stupid
modem which comes with the pc...
i went and installed

052600-1_rh70.i686.rpm for the i586 red hat 7.0 at first..but it gave me
some error msg during rpm install itself (i was using gnorpm)..i went back
to ur site, adn saw the KARCH clause...did the rpm query..and figured i
should be using the 686 version..went ahead and downloaded
that...uninstalled the earlier version of the driver..and installed this
instead..it went fine..but minicom wont recognize the modem..and even rhppp
wont. it says unable to start interface...
well, i found the olitech drivers someplace..installed that...minicom works
fine..but like i said, doesnt dial..very frustrating to finally be able to
hear the dialtone, and be unable to dial :)
maybe u could help me out ...
