Hi  all,

I have a Connexant modem with the 'famous' PCI id 127a:1025.
the chipset is R6793-15.
(linux box = mandrake 8.2)

After a trial with HCF driver (which does not work), I read the strange 
story about this PCI id and try the HSF driver:
- it works well and I can connect to internet.
thanks for that.

my questions:
1/ I want to (sometimes) setup this computer as a ppp server, when a 
launch mgetty (with no special change in config file), I got these log 
and ERROR

may someone can help me ? (I suppose problem with AT initialisation 
commands but don't know enough to correct ...)


2/ I read in the limitations page that FAX is actually not supported. 
does it means that I cannot send a fax ??
is it planned to be supported ? when ?


3/ I read in the limitations page that VOICE is actually not supported. 
does it means that I cannot make a phone call with a recorded voice 
message ??
is it planned to be supported ? when ?

can I use vgetty to receive voice calls ??
can I use vgetty and detect DTMF ??
