	Well, i haven't stoped investigations, and it seems this work now. I 
upgraded the linux smp kernel (from shipped version to Mandrake's last 
available (2.4.18-8.1mdksmp), and module load flawlessly now (i also 
used this pci card to email you yet ;-)). So perhaps, in your INSTALL, 
about mdk, you can add something about 8.2 and SMP boxes (note: it's an 
HP Netserver LC3, dual PIII-500, HP's rams)
