[hsflinux] hsfconfig creating a file that does not exist..

Hi I'm using gentoo linux with kernel 2.4.19.

when i run hsfconfig it find's the modem and all seams to run fine until 
it says that the modem is probably working on /dev/ttySHSF0

but that file does not exist?

Can anybody help?
