[hsflinux] x86

drivers refusing to install or not fully installed. I have a i686 whereas the 
given drivers from new cd that came with purchases and conexant/linux 
supportive sites only specify i586. found some info on recompiling but I'm 
new to linux and any sort of programming?...can you help?
