Hi,

there are still issues with AC97 audio mixed with AC97 HSF modems and the
Linux driver. We hope to be able to fix these problems soon.

You mentioned before that you didn't have ACPI compiled in your kernel; did
you try with it? Also, you might want to test with the ACPI patches found
here:
http://sf.net/projects/acpi/

I noticed the activity has picked up on this list, but I am not sure whether
we have touched this before recently.  Has the problem with sound driver on
AC97 integrated mobos interaction with HSF driver been sorted out? My
particular motheboard is a Shuttle ak31a  I think. Thanks,
