[hsflinux] Re: no carrier with conexant RS56 and Suse 8.2

   HI
   
   i tried to install a nortek modem with conexant chip RS56/SP-PCI
   				     RS793-11
   on the Suse 8.2. I downloaded the hsf driver for my kernel from
   www.linuxant.com. The installation works fine and kppp recognize my
   modem.
   But when i try to dial out i get the error message “no carrier”.
   With the same hardware i installed the debian and there all works fine
   even the connection to internet.
   
   I've also configured wvdial.conf with the same init strings as in kppp.
   Here i connect dial out 1 time. The second time i get again “no
   carrier”. If i change a init string and then i change it bag I can again
   dial out 1 time.
   
   Can somebody help me?
