Hi,

You might have an IRQ related problem.

You can try playing with the following kernel boot parameters :
"pci=noacpi", "acpi=off", "noapic" and/or "apm=off".

If that doesn't work, I suggest that you configure and install a generic 2.4
kernel with the ACPI patches found on this web site:
http://sf.net/projects/acpi

If you use a custom kernel, you will then need to install the generic HSF
driver (instead of a driver specific to one distribution/kernel) and compile
the modules with "hsfconfig".
