[hsflinux] Computer freezes completely after modem deconnexion.

Hi everybody,
Once in a while my computer completely freezes at modem deconnxion. This
happens approximately one time out of five. Once the system is frozen, I have
to switch off power and reboot. I use vwdial to connect on a mandrake 9.0
2.4.19-16mdk kernel. (More details below.)
Could you please give me your advice on this ?
