I for one will be buying the drivers (after 2.6-test5 finishes
downloading over this 56k (running Linuxant beta drivers)).
What everyone must understand is that Linux is about freedom not tight
wallets. Personally I think that if projects like this are successful
it will send a message to other manufacturers that there is a demand for
Linux drivers, prices will then come down for drivers and will
ultimately dissapear as the hardware manufacturers compete for the
growing market.
Great Work Marc!
BTW I think that Marc is being more than generous with his offer to the
testers and Kernel crew. Now lets all upgrade our kernels like we have
all been wanting to, click the preemptible kernel option, compile,
reboot and enjoy.
Cheers,
Brandon Philips
