Well, 

I bought a Dell Inspiron 415O with a CAM AC'97

I can't blame you if want to make money from your
work. But i think entreprises using connexant chipset
to build computers should pay you to provide free
 ( GPL / Free and at no cost ) drivers.

I think it's a shame to pay two times : 

1) When you buy your hardware 
2) When you pay to use your hardware

Users don't  have to support that extra-price
