Hi,

did you try the non-beta release of the driver? It has many important bug
fixes and feature improvements.

The latest version (6.03.00lnxt03091800) is available from our web site.

http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hsf/

Please let us know if you still have problems with this version.

Since I have not received a reply on this off-list mailing, I will post
it to the list.

Since the time of this original mailing, I find that if I issue the
command 'depmod --all' as root, kppp will find my modem.

My new questions are 'Why does this happen?', and more importantly,
'What can I do so I don't have to issue the depmod command so often?'.

Thanks,

bob

It worked after I did the above. I notice that sometimes kppp can find
the modem and sometimes it can't.
