When I try to connect (with the free driver) using wvdial I get the following message:
--> WvDial: Internet dialer version 1.53
--> Initializing modem.
--> Sending: ATZ
ATZ
OK
--> Sending: ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
ERROR
--> Bad init string.
.
.
And the connections dies. Which is strange, as it worked fine for me with the old beta-driver.
My wvdial.conf looks like this:
[Dialer Defaults]
Phone = 555555555
Username = *******
Password = ********
New PPPD = yes
Modem = /dev/modem
Baud = 115200
Init1 = ATZ
Init2 = ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
Init3 = ATM0 L0
Init4 = ATW1
ISDN = 0
Modem Type = Analog Modem
It also works fine with a different dial-up program.
Any ideas?
