[hsflinux] Support Request

Hi,

your modem with PCI ID 8086:24C6 uses the Intel AC97 controller, to 
which various MC97 modems can be connected. However, only those based on 
Conexant chips are supported.

The 'hsflinmodem' package is the old beta version of the driver which we 
no longer support.

Please remove both packages with the following commands in a root shell:

---
rpm -e hsflinmodem
rpm -e hsfmodem
---

Then, if you have the 'slamr' module in your kernel, please add the 
following line in your '/etc/modprobe.conf.local' file :

---
alias slamr off
---

then reboot your computer. To see if you have this module in your 
kernel, you can use the 'lsmod' command in a root shell to obtain the 
name of all the modules which are in the kernel.

Finally, please install again the 'hsfmodem' package that you have 
downloaded from our web site.

If you require more assistance, please send at support at linuxant.com the 
output of 'dumpdiag'. Type the following in a root shell:

---
hsfconfig --dumpdiag
---

Just send us the generated file located in /tmp ('hsfdiag.txt').
It'll help us solve the problem.
