[hsflinux] Winmodem on a Dell Latitude D505

Hi,

the problem is that the 'modprobe' tool is unable to load the modules
into the kernel. However, the modules are compiled and in the right
directory, the right entries are in the '/dev' directory as well as in
the '/etc/modules.conf' file.

Some users have reported that some of newer versions of the
'module-init-tools' package have this strange behavior with the HSF
driver and we are currently investigating on this problem.

In the meantime, please try to downgrade to one of these versions of the
'module-init-tools' package :

3.0pre9
3.0pre10
