Hi,
we are aware of this issue with recent 2.4 kernels which do not have the
CONFIG_SERIAL_CORE option and it will be fixed in the next release of
the driver. In the meantime, please enter the following commands in a
root shell to bypass the check for SERIAL_CORE:
---
cd /usr/lib/hsfmodem/modules
make clean minstall
make clean
---
Then, you should now be able to use the 'hsfconfig' command normally
except to rebuild kernel modules.
Alternatively, there is a patch that you can apply on the generic
package in the TAR format named 'hsf-7.18.00.05-kernconfig.patch' which
is available at:
http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/hsf/downloads-patches.php
which should fix this problem.
