[hsflinux] Kernel Oops on loading hsf modules (Ubuntu Breezy)

Hi,
the best way to make sure that the modem is actually based on the
Conexant HSF chipset, you could take a look at a known good for your
modem Windows XP driver. You will probably see the mention of Conexant
in the INF file if it is based on a Conexant chipset.
For the crash, can you please try with another kernel to see if there is
a difference? For example, you could try with a 2.6.14.x kernel from
http://www.kernel.org.
