Hi,

The error message:

---
error: "kernel.modprobe" is an unknown key
---

seems to be problematic but there is another problem as well. We can see
the following fatal errors in your 'dmesg':

---
hsfosspec: Unknown symbol errno
hsfosspec: Unknown symbol devfs_mk_cdev
hsfosspec: Unknown symbol devfs_remove
---

We are not aware of these problems. Can you try with other versions of
the Linux kernel to see if there is a difference?

It is important to note that the version of the HSF modem driver you are
using (7.18.00.07) is known to crash on x86_64 kernels version 2.6.11 or
later. This known issue will be fixed in the next release of the driver
which should be out very soon.
