Country: Italy.. (i've setted it writing "ITALY" when asked in hsfconfig
- --country)
the modem is: Communication Controller: Rockwell International HSF 56k
Data/Fax Modem code (127a:2013)
PCI
i've installed the latest version of the driver.. no problem during install
than i tried with both ppp and wvdial, same problem: pick up the line (i
can ear
here my wvdial.conf
[Dialer Default]
Carrier Check = no # Tried both with or without this
Init1 = ATZ # i've tried AT &F X1, too
Init2 = ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
Modem Type = Analog Modem
ISDN = 0
New PPPD = yes
Phone = .... # here my phone numbar
Modem = /dev/modem # symlink to /dev/ttySHF0
Username = ...
Password = ...
Baud = 115200
here the wvdial log without comment:
ATZ
OK
ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
OK
ATDTXXXXXXXXX # the X are the numbar
the line go down after a while..... and it retry with the same result
(can you or any other reply to me? i've not a subscription)
