[hsflinux] HDA support not compiled in the driver

 Hi,

Just installed hsfmodem 7.68.00.04, and ran hsfconfig
I have a Conexant HSF modem on Intel HDA Audio, and am running a recent kernel (2.6.23 with tuxonice -latest suspend- patches) on Gentoo, but I keep getting this error message after hsfconfig finishes compiling the driver:

Warning: no device detected by hsf driver - HDA modems may require reboot

Note: HDA support not compiled in the driver (requires a 2.6.16 or later kernel)

Is Kernel 2.6.23 too new for hsfmodem 7.68.00.04 ?
