Hi,
the source of the problem is:
---
/usr/lib/hsfmodem/modules/mod_engine.c:1: error: code model 'kernel' not
supported in the 32 bit mode
---
I can also see this:
---
No pre-built modules for: Slackware-Slackware linux-2.6.24.5-smp i686
---
I suspect you are using a 32-bit (x86) distribution of Linux and even if
you have a 64-bit (x86_64) CPU, you must use the x86 release of the
driver and not the x86_64 one.
If you are using a 64-bit distribution on a 64-bit CPU, can you please
try with a 2.6 kernel to see if there is a difference?
Regards,
Jonathan
