[hsflinux] problem uninstalling hsf packages

Hi,
some times ago I installed the hsfmodem and
alsa-driver-linuxant_1.0.18.0_all.deb.
Now i will unistall those packages but when I do that sound disappears
and the only way to have it back is to reinstall the packages of above.
There is a special procedure to uninstall those packages from ubunto
8.04 or 8.10 ?
