A bit sheepishly (I think) I have to confess that when I'm connected
via adsl the dial-up doesn't work... this may be something you want to set
up an error message for. Apparently, when I'm not connected via ADSL it
seems to work fine.<br>

If mbsibeta02082400 or 02082500 worked for you, I don't see any change in
mbsibeta02083000 which could cause this 'NO DIALTONE' problem. The only
thing could be a slight timing difference due to disabled stack checking.
Any error messages in the kernel log? (run "dmesg" after getting
no dialtone).
Anyone else experiencing this?
